MATERIAL SELECTION

Conductive Fabric Comparison & Selection Guide

Use the table to narrow the shortlist, then confirm the exact SKU against your frequency target, part geometry, installation method and finished-assembly requirement.

Representative material comparison

This table compares representative products from the current catalog. It is a selection aid, not a substitute for the complete product page or project-specific validation.

Important: The catalog contains different ways of expressing shielding performance, including ranges and frequency-qualified minimum values. Do not rank materials from a headline dB value alone; compare test conditions and the frequencies relevant to your design.
HOW TO SHORTLIST

Start with the project constraint that actually matters

Need fewer seams?

Evaluate the 1.38 m–1.5 m wide families such as X00789, X00790 and the X00783–X00785 diamond-grid series.

Need adhesive backing?

Evaluate X00748 and X00792–X00796. Confirm substrate compatibility, bonding method and whether the project requires conductive adhesive behavior.

Need a specific weave?

Compare plain, diamond and ripstop constructions against the drawing, converting process and mechanical requirements rather than assuming one weave is universally better.

Need RFID/Faraday conversion?

Evaluate the flexible RFID/Faraday fabric family, but design seams, closures and penetrations as part of the shielding system.
